I was educated in Claremont Hotel School in 1976. I was awarded the full scholarship from the federal Government of Switzerland to continue my education at the Swiss Hotel Schools Association in Barn. Having forty years of experience as an executive Pastry Chef, I have been employed in leading five stars Hotels, such as Hilton, Meradian, Sheraton, Movenpick, Holiday Inns in Srilanka and Middle East as well as the Maldives. Having taught in various hotel schools, I am a veteran lecturer and a master in my craft. My contribution can also be found in the recent N.V.Q revisions for Pastry Bakery, City & Guide food preparation in culinary arts, and patisserie being passionate lecturer to bring out the talents of my students.
Therefore it is my ambition that this training & development will serve as a framework for students such as school leavers, unemployed youth, also whoa are interested in pastry & bakery, international cookery industry, house wives, job seekers in Hotel/Restaurant and cafeteria to establish their youth employment strategies according to the recommendation.
I sincerely hope that this would lay a solid foundation which leads to sustainable future for the present and future management of our Remako Group.
